School lunch is provided to every RCAS student who wants one whether there is money or not in his or her account. No alternate meals are provided for students carrying negative balances. The Fed & Ready to Learn program raises funds to pay off negative meal account balances. This program is managed through the Black Hills Area Community Foundation and supported by the Rapid City Public School Foundation. Your donation continues to support RCAS Student Nutrition in their efforts to serve lunch to all students, which improves attendance, academic performance, behavior, and students’ lives. Thank you for your donation. Click here to donate today!
*The RC City Council is currently matching all donations towards negative balance dollar-for-dollar from 8/5/24 through 11/30/24 up to $25,000.
*As of 11/4/24 $25,000 has been raised!
