Stevens High School FBLA students do well at State competition

Twelve Stevens High School Future Business Leaders of America (FLBA) contestants traveled to the State Competition in Sioux Falls on April 23 & 24th. Approximately 400 students competed in a variety of events. Stevens Chapter competed in 19 events placing third place or better in nine.

First Place:          Broadcast Journalism-Jade Parkin, Maria Pecora, Hannah Cooley

Second Place:    Business Ethics-Haley Walter, Grace Partridge, Sarah Jane Luu

All fourth through first place winners advance to National Competition being held at the end of June in Baltimore, MD. “I am very proud of this year’s chapter. They have exceeded all my expectations,” stated Deb Reynolds, FBLA Advisor.
