Rapid City Area Schools is excited to announce Dr. Cory Strasser as Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services.

 

“As I enter this new role I’m finishing up my 17th year as a principal in both South Dakota and Minnesota with 26 years in education. I grew up in Lennox, SD but most of my professional career has been in Southwest Minnesota. My wife Jamie and I have two kids in school, two kids in college, and one in their career.

I am excited to be working with Principals and Staff in Rapid City Area Schools. I recently heard a speaker talk about the impact we can have on those around us. That is an essential role that Principals fill, whether it be intentional or unintentional. I am a firm believer that Principalship is vital for the success of a school and a district, but more importantly, for the success of the students. My goal is to continue to move Principals to be great leaders while providing quality leadership for the district.
