Stevens High School Counselor Melissa Good is the 2021 South Dakota Counselor of the Year! Anyone who knows Melissa, knows this is a well-deserved honor. The announcement was made at the South Dakota Counseling Association state conference last month.

Melissa is a Nationally Certified School Counselor, NCC, LAC, and has recently worked hard to receive her LPC-MH by working part-time for the past few years at Lutheran Social Services. She served as the 2019-2020 West River Counseling Association President and is still an active Past-President at this time. Additionally, she is working on becoming a registered play therapist in her “spare time”.
