School-aged enrolled students of furloughed government workers affected by the current shutdown may be eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch in their schools.

RCAS students and families affected by the on-going shutdown of the federal government can apply for free and reduced meals. Due to the federal government furlough being considered a financial change in income, all families affected can immediately apply for this benefit. Interested families can apply online at rcas.org or by calling RCAS Student Nutrition at 605-394-4061.
